Although just over an hour of music is squeezed onto a single lp 10 minutes more than the plain reissues by the way sound quality is top notch throughout which is no surprise considering kevin grey mastered this original release. Sparklehorse is full of unique beautiful little sounds and it s upsetting not to hear them. The record sounds warm but falls below exsoectations of what i had hoped. The deluxe edition also comes with a t shirt. Sounds clean and crisp on vinyl but i d guess it s just taken from the cd and not the original masters.

The pressing is also really clean and quiet which very important considering quiet much of the music is. Dreamy arrangements distorted vocals and slivers of feedback add to sparklehorse s down to earth melancholy and made vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot spontaneous happy sad noisy and quiet.
